我が家
本日無事帰ってまいりました。
天気予報では今日は広島県北部は一日雪。せっかく融けてきたであろう雪がまたどっさり積もっているかと心配しながら帰って来ましたが、予想に反してたいした雪にはなりませんでした。しかも嬉しいことに大量に積もっていた雪もこの5日の間で激減。寒さもそれなりでしてやはり着実に春の勢いは増してきているようです。
今回は福岡滞在中に自然農法をしている農家へ押しかけ訪問なども果たし、その畑などを実際に見せてもらうこともできました。しかし、当然のことながら一番目に付くのはやはり気候の違いでしたね。こうして帰ってきてみると改めていかに寒い地域に自分が住んでいるのかと思い知らされました。
冬でも野菜が作れる暖かさはやはり魅力ではありますが、寒冷地域にいるからこそ冬はひたすら休めるわけですし、どちらがいいというものでもありませんが、それなりに一長一短なのでしょう。自分の根付いた土地に沿った生き方というのができればそれだけで幸せなのでしょう。
福岡、広島と暖かいところに数日滞在し、気候的には過ごしやすい状態の中でのんびりさせてもらいましたが、少々寒くともやはりここの方が私には向いている気がしました。余所者でありながら今の住処に｢我が家｣を感じることができるようになったというのも時間的要因だけのものではないんでしょうね。
さて、明日からは学生が遊びに来ます。怠け心も程ほどに、気を入れなおして迎えてやりましょう。
